WHAT IS YOGA
Yoga is totally body & mind workout. Yoga exercises bring a balance between mind, soul, and body. It is a combination of stretching and strengthening poses with deep breathing or meditation or relaxation. Yoga is a word of 'Sanskrit' language and is derived from Sanskrit root Yuj (means 'Control'). There are so many meanings of yoga-like joining, uniting, combining. Outside of India yoga term is associated with hatha yoga or exercise.
Yoga practitioner is called Yogi (Male) or Yogini (Female).
